Pension Syo is one of the more modern lodges in Hakuba. Only opening in 2001. The owner has extensive experience as an Italian chef, and Syo is well know as having some of the best Italian food in the Nagano Area.

Located centrally in Hakuba, only 200m from the main street of Echoland, and close to numerous bars and restaurants, this is one of the places to stay in Hakuba.

Guests rooms are chic, with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, and Syo Map

are an ideal place to relax after a day on the slopes.

The bar / dining room large, with exposed beams, and offers a subtle ambiance in which to enjoy the chef's full course meals. There is a wide selection of wines on the menu to enjoy with your dinner. Breakfast is western style with freshly baked bread rolls (cooked on site). Dietary restrictions can be catered to.

Japanese owners will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.
